So you thought slow pitch jigging rods are only for conventional reels? Well that's just not the case. Inspired by true Japanese slow pitch rods we created Dark Matter Planet X Slow Pitch Jigging Spinning Rods. Built using specially designed Dark Matter carbon blanks that are tuned to the action of slow pitch jigging - soft tip and the ability for the rod to completely flex so that you can fight the fish on the end of your line with your reel. These rods are not your typical jigging or bottom fishing rods. They are designed so that you can get great action on jigs while not exhausting yourself pumping. If you've ever spent a day high-speed vertical jigging then you know what I mean. These lightweight rods do all the work so that you can catch more fish. 

Dark Matter Planet X Slow Pitch Jigging Spinning Rods are equipped with Fuji Alconite K Guides that are excellent for braided fishing lines. As on our conventional versions, the butt section is stripped down to keep these rods as light as possible but we added some custom shaped EVA at the rear of the rod for comfort on your forearm. A polycarbonate gimbal on the end eliminates spin in the rod holder.
