About Us
Dark Matter was founded in 2016 with the goal of creating well crafted fishing gear that would give the angler a great fishing experience. We looked at the landscape of fishing products and were confident we could offer high quality products at a fair price, and do it better than what was currently on the market. Influenced by multiple generations of anglers, we started with a new series of inshore rod. Lightweight so you could fish all day long, but powerful enough to tackle fish above its class. Anglers loved it and we began creating more products. Now we've expanded into lures, jigs, clothing and accessories. The same amount of care and time that we put into creating our first rod, we put into all the products we make. Everything is well thought out and everything is tested amongst a tight group of anglers who are not only amazing fishermen, but also great people. It is our hope that fishing a Dark Matter product not only helps you catch more fish but also brings a smile to your face. We strongly believe that above all else, fishing needs to be fun.
